Antique Nightstands Restoration

Once a lady came in with two beautiful antique nightstands. The furniture was old and worn out, but the wood was valuable. Also, the nightstands belonged to a deceased relative and had a great sentimental value. The customer didn't want to spend too much money on it, and asked us if there was a way to make it beautiful again for a moderate price. 

Our craftsman Andrey agreed to help. Normally, this project would require a huge amount of work, skills and time. If we were to refinish it from scratch, we would have had to work mostly with hands without using any equipment because the furniture was curved and looked very close to the Baroque style.

We refinished the whole top of the nightstand as it was damaged - the stands were covered with scratches and bumps, and this needed to be fixed. Finally, we covered everything with the right stain, and the nightstands started to look almost as new. Our customer was very satisfied with our work and with the moderate cost. She was very happy, and we were happy too because the nightstands really deserved it.
