Refinishing

Marinas’ Crafts specializes in antique and modern furniture restoration.

We consider each case individually. We prefer removing the old coatings by sanding it down, alas most of the companies prefer to use nasty chemicals in order to clean the wood. This sanding method we utilize is more difficult and requires great skill, especially with antique furniture or furnishings containing a veneer of precious wood, but it helps preserve the properties of the original wood, and provide a cleaner, longer lasting finish. Once the wood is clean, we do wood repairs as needed and apply several coatings of different products - depending on the customer’s preferences and the wood type: water-based, natural oil-based, and petrochemical-based finishes.

We do refinishing of all types of wooden furniture: outdoor and indoor: tables, chairs, benches, dressers, bars, vine cellars, china cabinets etc.

Upholstery

Marinas Crafts offers high-quality upholstery services for all types of furniture and interiors.

We work on commercial and individual repair projects, as well as making new furniture and interior design elements to order. From simple dining chair fabric and replacement, all the way to full-restaurant interior reupholstery, we’ve done it all.
