Vintage Chairs Re-upholstery and Refinish

One beautiful afternoon we received a re-upholstery project to work on. There were two beautiful vintage chairs that looked great but needed some work – worn out fabric, cushions needed to be changed, and more. These chairs had a great sentimental value. In addition, the wood was in a very good condition, the frames were very sturdy, so they were worth investment. The client also wanted them to match her home interior design.

Our tailor Marina sewed the back pillows with welt, and the chairs became more comfortable and looked nicer.

The customer gave us the fabric, and the project started! We took apart the chairs, the tailor measured the fabric. The chairs have fabric on both sides. It is like a small sofa, and takes much work. The craftsman also changed the foam (the customer had a new foam, so we just replaced it with the new one). Finally, the cushions were made the way the customer wanted.

In addition, the customer had a beautiful vintage coffee table and wanted it to be refinished and match the wood of the chairs. Our carpenter removed the old stain, made the wood even, mixed the stain in a way that it matches the chairs. When the work was done the chairs and the coffee table looked wonderful. Please see the pictures.
