Most of my clients have antique furniture taken from great-grandparents that is outdated over time and needs a proper work in order to make it back in order.

First, it is the wood, to make a good quality table craftsmen take completely dry slabs. Did you know, for example, an oak slab has to dry about 12 years and for the walnut it takes about 8 years. The only thing that can become old and scratchy is the surface. So people come to refinish the table surface and it is as new again.

The wood during this season is perfectly dry and the refinishing process goes quickly and smoothly.

I must say that even indoor furniture: tables, dressers, chairs etc are much better to refinish during summer than winter. During the summer season we have an augmented number of orders for outdoor wooden structures, decks, patios, sidings or fences.
